I am a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, I am a wife to Chris, since 2004 and together we have four children. We live in British Columbia, Canada and attend a local Mennonite Brethren church.
I love my family and I am so grateful that I get to be the “queen” of this house. The Lord has blessed me with many wonderful people in my life and I am so grateful for the work He has done in my life, which includes saving me over and over again from my own mistakes, by restoring a marriage covenant and opening my eyes to His truth. I grew up in a Christian home, but like a lot of folks, I strayed…but God is good and he found me exactly when I needed him most.
I look forward to sharing my truths and experiences with all of you. I hope that whatever the Lord prompts me to write, that it speaks to your soul.
Jeremiah 29:11-For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
First and foremost I am a child of God. I have been all my life, thought not without questions, and challenges through it. I was raised in a baptist church for the younger portion of my life, then attending a pentecostal church through my teenage years, and now finally landing in our local alliance church in Alberta with my family. I have seen many ways to worship, and I believe they are all part of the body of Christ.
Second in line, I am a wife to my husband and best friend Tim since 2004. Almost 10 years in and I am realizing how much he means to me, and much of a friend I truly have in him. Together we have two little girls, and two furry babies too (good things come in twos… just ask Noah).
My favourite time of the day is once everyone is tucked in and I am left in the quite of the evening with me and my bible and God. I hope that I can share some of my quiet time with you, including the challenges and troubles I experience in life, in hopes that you can realize you’re not alone.
My most favourite verse: For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:5
